I'm a Southern girl who loves stories. I loved to read and dream. Growing up I always wanted to write, but I pushed back my dream until after my children were in school over ten years ago. I quickly discovered writing became an obsession. I love to write. My first book I wrote was my dad's autobiography, They Called HIm Coach. I wrote it so my children could have a piece of my father since he passed away before they knew him.  Dream Walker, was published with Wild Child in 2008, followed by Patriot Secrets in 2010.
My historical romance series, Tides of Charleston, has been released with the first of the series, The Judas Kiss. Coming in May, The Promise.
I'm excited to have started a fantasy series under my pen name, Carrie James Haynes. Whispers of a Legend, Part One-Shadows of the Past is the first in that series. The Path Now Turned has followed. Daughter of Deceit has just been released.
        I live in a small South Shore town in Massachusetts with my husband of over twenty-four years, three children, three dogs and a cat.
